Aug 2022 - Aug 2024

UX Designer @ OnBoard, United State

1.Delivered design proposals for Onboard's new candidate community, which included 10+ high-fidelity prototypes that integrated 2 core functions and fulfilled the expectations of the diverse recruitment community. The design proposals have been advanced to the next stage of in-depth design.

2. Led user interviews and make the construction of the interview protocol. Invited 10 board members and administrators from 3 different companies using board software through LinkedIn to participate in the interview. Using affinity diagram to sort of interview outcome into design insight.

3. Conducted a SWOT analysis to analyze the strengths and opportunities of 10+ main competitive products. I determined that the current direction of the project can offer vital competitive features compared to its competitors.

4. Designed 10+ high-fidelity prototype pages for the new candidate recruitment process. These new features enhanced the recruitment process with existing products and increased the diversity between the board admin and members based on the results of usability testing.

5. Conducted a heuristic evaluation of the prototypes with 10 admins who had board experience. The test results confirmed the effectiveness of the design.

Aug 2020 - Jun 2021

Industrial Designer @ Wayfinding, Beijing

1. Delivered a design solution that aligns with the architectural style of the Asian-Cup stadium (Xi'an) with a CMF application that was successfully applied in the stadium rest area.

2. Developed a project scope that aligns with the client's requirements and worked with architects and engineers to ensure that it matched production standards, program cost, and timeline.

3. Built 3D models using Rhino and Keyshot, and created 3-5 initial design plans based on the requirements from the client and architect insights. Presented design plans once a week, and one of my design plans was selected by the client for the final detailed design phase.

4. Collaborated with Zaha Architects to determine the materials and shape features, and created a detailed CMF plan that included CAD, materials, and mechanical architecture. Worked with a CMF engineer to build manufacturing details.

Jan 2013 - Dec 2015

Industrial Designer @ JD Logistics, Beijing

1. Delivered design proposals for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Logistics Robot System, which included 5+ new features that integrated with the logistics system and supported a low-carbon concept. These proposals also demonstrated commercial value based on current products, providing a solution for precise transportation in dense space conditions through modular accessories.

2. Conducted market research with 20+ competitive analyses to establish a competitive design strategy

3. Built 10+ 3D models with Rhino, Keyshot with new features to match Precise transportation in dense space conditions

4.Collaborated with engineers to create manufacturing manuals with details to deliver product feasibility reports.
